November 9, 2015 - Taipei, Taiwan

DIGIEVER, a world leading company of IP video management surveillance system, is pleased to announce new firmware 2.1.0.58 is available for DIGIEVER NVR. DIGIEVER consistently creates the vision of future video surveillance solution. In firmware 2.1.0.58, DIGIEVER presents one more method to backup videos, instant Modbus I/O event notification and other advanced features.

"To quickly response market needs and customers’ requirements, we are dedicated to developing new features and releasing them in very short time."said Allen Tseng, Product Director of DIGIEVER. "DIGIEVER NVR becomes more powerful and intuitive than before. With one DIGIEVER NVR, users can flexibly deploy cameras and guard the area in a smarter way."

Modbus I/O Box Status on Liveview

Without entering configuration page, users can easily obtain all Modbus I/O boxes' information and status on liveview page. Once a Modbus I/O event is triggered, users can instantly notice what kind of event is triggered and its status to take corresponding action in order to minimize event damage and cost. With event pusheruser-defined I/O alias name and filter, users can clearly notify events on the top of window via user-defined Modbus I/O name and display desire event types from multiple Modbus I/O boxes.

Event Backup to External FTP

DIGIEVER NVR can smartly back up video clips and snapshots to external FTP server when an event is triggered. This feature allows users to store key evidence for a longer time with no impact of NVR’s HDD recycle. In addition to this new backup method, DIGIEVER NVR offers up to 7 methods to quickly duplicate recorded videos for different usages and purposes such as USB backup, remote backup to NAS and instant export while playback videos.

Dual-stream Supported for Generic RTSP/ MJPEG

For cameras without DIGIEVER official native integration, DIGIEVER NVR allows users to add cameras via Generic RTSP (H.264) and Generic MJPEG so as to test or demo IP video solution for potential customers and possible projects. DIGIEVER NVR also supports dual-stream for cameras added by Generic RTSP/ MJPEG. Depending on surveillance requirements, users can flexibly use two video streams for monitoring and recording. For example, NVR can record video in higher resolution (stream1) and display video in lower resolution (stream2) to save network bandwidth.
