FAQ

If you would like to retrieve HDD data from other NVR, please follow below steps:

[Step 1] Save NVR configuration file and power off NVR

1. Go to NVR configuration page: Management > Save/Load Configuration > Save Configuration
2. Select "Volume" and "Folder" path and fill in "File Name"
3. Click "Apply" button to upload condiguration file

[Step 2] Install all HDDs to new NVR in original order

[Step 3] Press power button to turn on NVR and skip Quick Configuration

[Step 4] Check Configuration File Name  (Enable File Sharing Service)

1. Go to NVR configuration page: Disk Management > File Sharing Service > Information
2. Enable Windows Networking

3. Open a folder and enter NVR IP Address (eg. \\192.168.1.245) to check the location and name of configuration file 

[Step 5] Upload configuration file from original NVR 

1. Go to NVR configuration page: Management > Save/Load Configuration > Load Configuration
2. Choose "Load Configuration", select correct "Volume" and "Folder" path and fill in "File Name"
3. Click "Apply" button to upload condiguration file
