How to reset my NVR to default password?

DIGIEVER NVR has an option to reset itself to default settings in case that users forget their username and password.

For DS-16X00-RM Pro(+), DS-8X00-RM Pro(+), DS-4X00-RM Pro(+), DS-4X00 Pro(+), DS-4000 and DS-2000 series:

[Step 1] Please power on your DIGIEVER NVR.

[Step 2] Please take a sharp pin, for example pen or paper clip, to push the reset button for more than 5 seconds, till you hear a long beap sound.

(The reset button is on the back of DIGIEVER NVR.)

DS-16X00-RM Pro(+) series	DS-8X00-RM Pro(+) series

DS-4X00-RM Pro(+) series	DS-4X00 Pro(+) series

DS-4000 series	DS-2000 series

[Step 3] The DIGIEVER NVR should be rebooting by itself now.

[Step 4] Once the rebooting is done, the NVR will be reset to DHCP mode.

You may use EZSearch to find it, and log in with default username/ password (admin/ admin).

For DS-2100 UHD, DS-2200 UHD, DS-4100 UHD, DS-4200 UHD, DS-8200-RM UHD, DS-16300-RM UHD series:

[Step 1] Please power on your DIGIEVER NVR.

[Step 2] Please take a sharp item, for example pen or paper clip,

to push the reset button for more than 5 seconds, till you hear a long beap sound.
(The reset button is on the back of DIGIEVER NVR.)

[Step 3] The DIGIEVER NVR should be rebooting by itself now.

[Step 4] Once the rebooting is done, the NVR will be reset to DHCP mode.

You may use EZSearch to find it, and log in with default username/ password (admin/ admin).

For DS-2100Pro(+) , DS-1100 Pro and VD-0000 series:

[Step 1] Prepare a monitor and a video connector(HDMI or DVI-I) to connect your device.

[Step 2] Please power on your device.

[Step 3] On login page, press the power button for 3 seconds.

Then, click “Cancel” button to stop shutting down device
when the message (This system will be shutdown in 3 seconds) pops out.

Device will back to login page.

[Step 4] Click the icon at the bottom left corner of login page.

[Step 5] A window will pop up to confirm your operation. Click “Yes” to execute reset to default.

The device should be rebooting by itself now.

[Step 6] Once the rebooting is done, the device will be reset to DHCP mode.

You may use EZSearch to find it, and log in with default username/ password (admin/ admin).

*Note: It is suggested to save the configuration before resetting your device.

Please log in the remote browser user interface, and go to Configuration page
(Management > Save/Load Configuration) to save the configuration.
