How to export video files from DIGIEVER NVR?

DIGIEVER NVR provides several methods for users to instantly backup recorded videos as below:

1. Export video files in playback page

2. USB backup Button

3. Copy and save video files from Network service

 

*Note: To ensure your exported videos safety, you may enable encryption feature in the configuration page: 
         Management > USB Backup > Advanced Settings

     

 

1. Export video files in playback page

    Method 1. From local display

    Please select cameras, video file types, date and the time period first, and then click the export button to copy the files.

    (You may refer the following picture from Step A to Step D)

    *Note: This method is supported in Pro series.

  

    Method 2. From remote web browser

    [Step 1] Choose export path from setting button

    

    [Step 2] Select camera and time period that you would like to export

    [Step 3] Click the button to export video files

     

 

2. USB backup Button

  (1)Software & hardware USB BACKUP button
     *Note: This method is supported in DS-8200-RM Pro, DS-4200-RM Pro, DS-4200 Pro, DS-4000, DS-2000 series

    

    [Step 1] Enable USB BACKUP feature

    [Step 2] Preset a maximum of days and hours to backup the latest video files and configure the specific channels

    [Step 3] Click “Apply” to save configuration or click “USB Backup” to export video files

    *Note: Please insert a USB device before exporting video files.

            Backup picture helps you to insert your USB device to the correct USB port.

    [Step 4] Press "BACKUP" button on NVR to export video files when needed as below picture

    

    

  (2) Software USB BACKUP button
      *Note: This method is supported in DS-2100 Pro, DS-1100 Pro series

   

   [Step 1] Enable USB BACKUP

   [Step 2] Preset a maximum of days and hours to backup the latest video files and configure the specific channels

   [Step 3] Insert a USB device.

      (Backup picture helps you to insert your USB device to the correct USB port.)   

   [Step 4]Click “USB Backup” to export video files

3. Copy and save video files from Network service

   To use Windows Networking and FTP Service, please enable both in“File Sharing Service” in configuration page.

 

  (1) Windows Networking in LAN

   Method 1. Choose a computer of NVR

   [Step 1]Find NVR's computer name

      Please go to “Network” > “Network Setup” > “Information” in configuration page.

      

     *Note: The default computer name of each connected NVR is from “Mac Address” of each NVR,
             which can be found in configuration page.

   [Step 2]Go to “Network” folder from your PC and double click the NVR.

      

   [Step 3] Enter user name and password

      

     As you select the NVR, a window will pop up and ask to enter network password.

    [Step 4] Select “videodata1”folder to check video files

     

    After users enter accurate user name and password, NVR will display the folder “Public” and “videodata1.”
    Please select “videodata1” to check video files.

    [Step 5] Copy and save video files

     

   After entering “videodata1,” the folder displays RecordFolderchronologically by recording dates.

   Please select a folder to enter. You may also copy and save video files to your PC.

   Method 2. Choose a computer of NVR

   [Step 1] Enter NVR IP address from the Windows Start menu.

     

   [Step 2] Enter user name and password

     

    As you enter the IP address, a window will pop up and ask for network password.

    If you don’t amend the user name and password, please enter the default ones:“admin/admin.”

   [Step 3] Select “videodata1”folder to check video files

    

    After users enter accurate user name and password, NVR will display the folder “Public” and “videodata1.”

    Please select “videodata1” to check video files.

    [Step 4] Copy and save video files

     

   After entering “videodata1,” the folder displays RecordFolderchronologically by recording dates.

   Please select a folder to enter. You may also copy and save video files to your PC.

 

   (2) FTP Service

     [Step 1] Open a Windows web browser and enter NVR IP address 

     *Note: To access FTP service in WAN, please enable router’s Internet access and specify the same port as NVR. (The default is 21)

    [Step 2] Enter user name and password

      

     As you enter the IP address, a window will pop up and ask to typea user name and password to log in FTP server.

     If you don’t amend the user name and password, please enter the default ones:“admin/admin.”

     Then, click "Log On" button.

    [Step 3] Select “videodata1”folder to strat copy video files
