[Step 1] Go to camera's web configuration page to check SD card is ready to use: System > Storage Management

[Step 2] Enable Offline Record in Advanced Settings page.

[Step 3] Please read the note for edge recording. You can find the information in Camera/Vide/Audio > Video >Stream page as below:

[Step 4] Make sure NVR and camera’s date and time are synchronized. It is recommand to enable NVR's NTP syncronization.

If there is a disconnection between camera and NVR, camera will start edge recording and video files will be saved in its SD card.

NVR will reload the the videos from camera as normal recording type once NVR is reconnected to camera.
